# Agreeably

> Agreeably helps South African couples separate amicably: disclose assets privately, agree who keeps what item by item, plan parenting, pets and maintenance, and hand a lawyer a settlement agreement that's ready to review.

Agreeably is an online platform for amicable separation and uncontested divorce in South Africa. It is a settlement facilitator, not a law firm or an arbitrator, and nothing on it is legal advice: a lawyer reviews the agreement before anyone signs. All amounts are in South African rand (ZAR).

## What it does
- Private screening for each spouse (consent, safety, complexity); answers are never shown to the other spouse.
- Financial disclosure: each spouse lists assets and liabilities privately, then shares them; loans and bonds are linked to the assets they're secured against, and equity is worked out per property.
- Item-by-item negotiation: propose, counter and accept who keeps what; big decisions have a 48-hour cooling-off period.
- Parenting plan, pet plan and maintenance planner.
- Estimated legal costs: one shared lawyer while nothing is contested; each spouse's own lawyer once anything is.
- Draft settlement agreement and parenting plan for a lawyer to review; optional lawyer review inside the app.
- After-divorce checklist (beneficiaries, accounts, transfers).
- Privacy: ID and account numbers encrypted; data export and erasure under POPIA.

## Pricing
One fee per divorce, paid by either spouse when a lawyer review is requested:
- DIY Agreement Preparation: R 1 495 per divorce. Guided questions, disclosure, asset allocation and documents.
- Guided Divorce Settlement: R 3 995 per divorce. Everything in DIY, plus negotiation, maintenance and parenting planning.
- Lawyer-Reviewed Divorce: R 9 995 per divorce. Everything in Guided, plus a defined lawyer review and finalisation guidance.
A commitment deposit of R 200 is due before agreeing items, and is credited against the package.
